On a newly altered route, Nick Wollastein set an amazing time of 8 hours 30 for the full 37 mile marathon. That wasn't enough though: he also cycled to and from the event!

Ian Brown organised a Three Peaks Challenge (i.e. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). Two minibus loads of eager RamSoccers travelled round the country attempting all three in 24 hours.

Outgoing VP Phil Bamber organised a working holiday in the National Trust's Carneddau estate in North Wales. Jobs completed included moving stone around for path laying and moving a tool shed further up the west face of Tryfan. The week ended with a barbecue and a long night of drinking games
