This year's event was organised by Mary Mills (nee Fowler) and saw 16 people meet up at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn between Ladybower and Bamford. Some of the people at this year's event were not able to make last year's, and so were renewing old friendships from some time ago.
Saturday's walk was along the western wing of Ladybower reservoir, up along Jagger's Clough and along the ridge to Win Hill before dropping back down to the Yorkshire Bridge Inn for an informal dinner.
On Sunday about half of the group started from Slippery Stones on Derwent reservoir and then went along the ridge to Marjery Hill. (This was part of the marathon route in the 70s.) The walk then headed south towards Back Tor before ending at the car park at the northern end of Ladybower.
